Joyful Giving!
Bags of scarves, hats, and mittens along with a bounty of chocolate chip cookies were sent over to the People to People Food Pantry yesterday. Guests will gather there this evening and throughout the week to shop for Christmas. Hundreds of toothbrushes are boxed and ready to be delivered on Saturday to Lifebridge in Salem and more than forty coats of all sizes are making their way today to City Mission Boston. Thank you to all who contributed to this Advent outreach!
Our cup runneth over! More than ninety of our Maple Street family gathered for the 175th Banquet last Friday evening. Thank you, Karen and Frank Kilty our evening chefs, and the kitchen team: Pam & Scott Spearing, Donna & Paul Pepper, Miranda Napolitano, Julia Martin, & Gayla Bartlett. Thank you to our 175th Steering Committee: Jonathan Prescott, Marj Simpson, Priscilla Curda, Bob McBride, and Bruce Billingham for all you time and energy. Everyone enjoyed hearing history and stories from Tom Page, Richard Trask, and Wayne Marquis. Thank you all who attended, your support will directly benefit the transportation fund of the Danvers Senior Center. On Saturday, more than 300 people came through the church for cookies & cocoa, the Living Nativity, DCAT photos, and Lifebridge Outreach. We have much to be thankful for and I give thanks to God for your ongoing generosity and joyful giving!.
