Confirmation

 

Confirmation’s goal is discipleship, helping people become disciples of Jesus.

 

As disciples, we attempt to resemble in lifestyle, beliefs, and values the teachings of Jesus, to become people of Shalom.

 

Confirmation is a ten week intensive program offered youth in the tenth grade. The total person is engaged with educational programs that are experiential, personal and engaging. Each confirmand is blessed by being given a mentor, an apprenticeship approach, pairing adult mentors from the congregation with confirmation students.

 

Confirmation does not end growth as a Christian but rather continues and strengthens Christian growth which has already begun.
